Strong written and oral presentation skillsĭesign immunomodulatory biomaterials and nanomaterials to decrease innate and adaptive immune responses to allogeneic cells Conduct lab research focused on fabrication and testing of immunomodulatory biomaterials and nanomaterials for application in cell transplantation. Expertise in cell transplantation, immunomodulation and type-1 diabetes will be a plus. Preferably, PhD in biomedical or chemical engineering and/or chemistry or pharmacologyĮxperience in synthesizing biomaterials and nanomaterials and performing in vitro and in vivo (mice) experiments.
